What tools do we use.
We been using CAD since the early commercially available AutoCAD days and took the jump to 3D with ProEngineer in the mid 1990's.
These days there are many CAD tools to chose from, each with its own strengths and weakness's, currently our preferred design tools are;
Creo (Formally ProEngineer) - Sheet metal design, frame design, machined parts creation.
Rhino3D - 2D and 3D design planning, visuals.
Fusion 360 - CNC machining.
AutoCad - 2D design, project mnagement and collaboration tool.
